Nutrition is important to me. I believe in the power of food to enhance our mental, emotional, physical, environmental and global health; For this reason I mostly eat food with a little foodless food here and there. But I don't typically count calories.
Last week I decided I was going to start writing down everything I eat and count calories and I have to say it's very interesting. The most important observation has been my water intake. I can no longer deny that I don't drink enough and I know I am not alone with this.
So, every morning I begin with not one but two glasses of water and I make this jug of water that includes half a cucumber and the juice of one lemon. Not only is it hydrating but it's a good source of antioxidants, it's good for the skin and it reduces bloating.
Simple, tasty and efficient!
