A Little Full Moon/Eclipse Story

When Ysabelle was in grade 9, her caring math teacher told us in private that math is not for everyone and that it would be a good idea to take applied math rather than academic math when entering grade 10 so that she could focus on what she is good at. In grade 10 Ysabelle said F$#@k that ( yes my girl does use the F word) —- she is now completing a business degree. I love this girl and admire her ability to rise above what other people think of her.

The reason I am sharing this today is not just because I love showing off my daughter but it’s in light of the Full Moon/eclipse which based on my studies is an opportunity to own our strength which includes our shadow/challenges. It is an acknowledgment of our ability to get back up and try again as we respect the journey not just the goal.

So let’s ground our feet into the earth, remember our own get back up story, look up, breathe a little deeper and soak in that Full Moon energy!

P.S. This post is not abou...

If I am a product of what I choose to consume and if my mind can be my best friend or my worst enemy then I must ask myself: What shall I give the gift of my attention to today?

And, if the wisdom of yoga is right, thoughts and words are as powerful as actions ——- so just for today I am going to fuel the beliefs that are in line with my highest aspirations and then I may I try again tomorrow....but for now my focus is on today.
